I used Rogaine for three years...from when I was 17 - 20. It worked on the top but not in the front. I gave up on it and started keeping it short.

In 2003 I dressed up as Mr. Clean for Halloween and ended up shaving my head all the way to the scalp with a razor. I've done it ever since and LOVE it!

I have a friend who takes Propecia and is happy with it. There's just nothing out there that replaces it.

No. Just be careful, however, there will be those who will try to exploit your problem. I know someone who went ball in his late 20s. He opted for the Mr. Clean, shaved head, look. He's been head shaven now for over 20 years. And I know others who just shaved off all their hair because of baldness. Actually a shaved head looks tough.
