well we are currently developing a high power plasma engine at Nasa.....i think it is a slightly diff kind of plasma but the properties are the same it is a very proficient fuel ie: a peice of the end of an average persons fingernail if converted to the energetic plasma that is being used by NASA would fill an entire room....very proficient fuel wouldnt you agree?

plasma is a generic term for any form of gaseous substances.
a solid can be turn into a plasma by heating it up.

Application depends on what type of plasma and temperature.

The sun is one huge plasma engine.

Plasma TV used plasma gas to display the various colors.

In ship building plasma are use in arc welding to prevent oxidation of the
joint.
