Can I have more than 1 ipod and itunes on my computer?

My boyfriend and I both have ipods but different tastes in music. Is there a way of using our ipods on the same computer?

the only way you can is to collect all of your music together in your itunes, then create separate playlists.

My boyfriend and I use iTunes on our pc and laptop but we have our iPods set so they don't automatically upload the contents of the iTunes library - that way, we upload our songs, delete them from the library, then it's ready for the next person to use.
