How do I get a a real horoscope reading?

I only have read the horoscopes on the internet or newspapers.How can I get one that is not so general .I am a scorpio male and I need to know how to react on different days..It is hard for me to be anything but intense about everything..Perhaps I dont need the horoscope..Maybe I am just nuts

Hi, if you are interested on knowing how stars, planets affect your daily life a horoscope is not the answer, get a natal chart, the natal chart tells you the position of the planets the day you were born, what sign was in what house, and according to that how each planet affects your personality, there is a house for love, one for professional life, one for relationships, etc. I took a course on natal charts a long time ago and my instructor used to say that a horoscope doesn't work because you can't predict day by day but for periods, if you get your natal chart you'll know more about your personality, your strenghts and weaknesses and you will also get a view on how your life could develop on the coming months, it is based as I said on how the planets were aligned the day you were born as well as the sun and the moon, horoscopes are too general, a natal chart is individual as it takes in consideration the day you were born and also the time you were born, you will get your ascendent, for example you say you are scorpio but your ascendent could be aries, tauro, or another. An normally the ascendent is the personality you have deep inside.
You can get your natal chart through the internet, I have seen some webpages offering it, or you could look for someone in your city that can get you one, there is a computer program that gives you the natal chart what is important is the interpretation of it and having someone do it for you in person could give you the opportunity to ask more. Well, I got to differ with one of the answers above. It is correct that newspapers go by sunsigns - general for about 144 million people, whatever. So reading your rising sign would be more accurate. Now, the outer planets affect us for periods, while the inner planets, personal planets affect us on a daily basis. Example, say you have a good venus aspect that day. You might meet a woman. If the moon is also aspecting on that day, the woman you meet might be older, or she might have children, or she could be a Cancer. And you might ask her out, and she'll say yes. Or a good venus day is the ideal time to get a haircut, because it'll come out exactly the way you want it. It's also a good day to out and buy something, or if you're loooking for something - ie- a suit, you find the perfect one. Now, let's say you have a square to venus that day. If you get a haircut that day, they're gonna do a crappy job. You might cut yourself shaving. You might lose something that day. You will have a run in with a female that day. Maybe moon is in Capricorn , you might have a run in with your boss if she's female. Or you and your mom might have a problem that day. Maybe venus is in gemini, you could dent your car. Maybe you get in a fight with your sister. Maybe you're traveling and you get incredibly lost because you took a wrong turn. Now, say Uranus comes along - and I don't know your birthday, so I can't tell you when - and it's a trine aspect . Well, this is something that will happen to you once in a lifetime. You might meet the love of your life if it aspects the moon. Maybe you win the lottery if it aspects Jupiter. Now, if it's a square, wow! Maybe it squares Jupiter. Out of the blue somebody wants to sue you. Maybe you have a big blowout with somebody, or your wife leaves you for your friend, whatever. Depends on what is being aspected. Maybe you have a neptune aspect, and you go out and buy a big boat, or you take an overseas cruise. See, it's not that simple. Then you have new moons, which affect you for four weeks, so you look to where it is in your chart to see how it wil affect you that month. Full moon operates in two weeks. And these are just basics, okay. As far as the Bible, there are many references but I don't want to get into a religious debate. God made the heavens, he knew what he was doing. To everything there is a season, and the planets show us when that season is. And don't forget what the wisemen followed. It's just a roadmap. You always have the choice which road to take.
