With due respect to the royal family, why is Daina celebrated even for her many mis deeds., ( I hate her to address as princess coz she has bought a bad name to the royal family) what is your opinion as a lay human being?????

It proves (at least partly) true, when people say good deeds outshine bad deeds ...
I agree, that her affairs are a disgrace, not just to the Royal family .. it's a disgrace to herself. A Princess, involved in extra-marital affairs!!! But people make mistakes, and I guess we need to show grace there, too.

I don't hate her. In fact I've got no feelings about her at all. I think people like or adore her because she was beautiful and graceful. Yes, she's done inappropriate things, but she was just a human being. We all err as humans, don't we? Don't be too harsh on her. She had a pretty miserable life as the wife of the crown prince, don't you think. By the way, I admire Mother Teresa for all the kindness she's shown all the helpless people. Princess Diana has done good things as well, and I believe she was admired for these things. What do you think?

I think she was a very confused girl who did a lot of good things and bad things. It was just the way she went about it that was wrong. But I do agree that she was bad news for the royal family.

I think that she was a normal human being just like the rest of us- flawed. But she also did many good things (her charity work for example) and tried her best to accept her royal duties.

why don't we talk abt her ugly mutt of a philandering husband or her mother in law who doesn't want to die and give her ugly son a chance to rule? I think the whole windsor family is dysfunctional except for the Escort AKA the frumpy old lady's husband/footmat! Why doesn't Parliament do away with that family? William is a bit saner than the rest of them

Diana is celebrated because of her imperfections which allow common non-perfect people to identify with her
Many women think "Wow she commits adultery", Has an eating disorder and is mentally unstable" "we have so much in common".
If she had no mis-deeds then few people could identify with her and imagine themselves being like her

I thought Princess Diana was a good person. She did alot of good things. She was only human and I felt she was very mistreated in her life with Charles.
