you must check out if the game is fully removed or if there are any folders associated to your game still there. If so remove it.Or else reinstall the game n remove by going to control panel n add n remove folder n uninstall the game entirely. (may be lengthy but still works.)

do the things above 2 persons told ,run in safe mode and then remove the game.
then download a program unloacker if icons still don't go.it will definately delete it.
