i mean, there was the space race-to get away from the earth, how about a mantle race? to get into the earth... why have we not broken through the crust yet? I mean, (scientifically speaking)we've been here for about 4.5 million years...

ya I know we dont have the tecnology to go down there yet, but we didnt have the technology to go to space back then. we were pressured into going to the moon so if we were pressured to going under then maybe we would have the willpower to figure out the technology

that's where all the lava-monsters are, and they're scary

seriously though, we don't have the technology yet to withstand the pressures, temperatures etc that are that far down. and once we overcome the present obstacles, it just gets hotter further down. and on top of that, there isn't much down there that won't eventually (or hasn't already) made its way into the crust.

basically, space has useful stuff in it, the centre of the earth doesnt have any real benefits compared to the risks/costs of getting there

A little bit of gravity, a little bit of help from God, some hard ground, and ppl can't exactly push through that hard dirt beneath the grass! I'm wondering, too when people have lived long enough to go under eaths crust. It sounds scary. When God wants to make a new creation, People will only die i hope. If He wants to create something without an earth, he will have it blown up i guess.

There are creatures residing as a lot as 2 km down, getting their power from chemical reactions, yet there is not any way you would possibly want to get the organic and organic molecules of organisms surviving something like magma variety warmth.

because it is far 2 hot down there. and the pressure would cruss us unless we were in a ship that could withstand the heat and pressure. but that is easier said than done

Because heat and pressure build up to unbelievable levels very soon, we just can't dig very deep.

Besides, what would you do? Sightsee? That would be lame. LOL

because there is nothing there we want, and besides getting off this planet is way cooler then going into it because no one expects to find aliens inside the planet, well some people do
