I have booked into Hotel hillview near Surajkund. I do not know if it will be better for me to go to Delhi station and then make way to Faridabad or do I get a booking for H Nizamuddin station. Please do advise me. Thanks.

You appear to be new to Delhi, more so if traveling with luggage, get down at H Nizamuddin Station and opt to come out from Nizamuddin East (Jangpura side; it is opposite to Sarai Kale Khan side), take a taxi to your hotel near Surajkund.

Remember that Surajkund falls in Haryana State and not in Delhi state, but your hotel would just be a kilometer or so away from the official border of Delhi. You may be required to tackle the taxi driver on this issue of traveling inter-state. Negotiate hard, if need be as the distance required to be traveled would be about 16-17 kilometers to your hotel, out of which 1-1 1/2 kilometers would be out of Delhi limits i.e. in Haryana. The border tax charge is meager, though most of the taxies have prior arrangements. The official taxi fare should be within Rs. 140-150, all inclusive.

If you happen to hire a pre-paid taxi through Delhi Traffic Police managed booth, whatever they charge in the vicinity of above amount, they will issue you an official receipt for that.

Go to Hazrat Nizamuddin. If you can afford a taxi, take it. If not take a DTC bus (Mudrika or outer Mudrika) and alight at Maharani Bagh crossing. Remember there is a flyover at Maharani Bagh crossing, so you need to alight before flyover starts and you have to walk towards Friends Colony. From there you can find lot of buses going towards Faridabad.

Alternatively, buses to Faridabad are also available directly from Nizamuddin station (from Sarai Kale Khan side, not from side of shrine of Nizamuddin). Sarai Kale Khan is a name of ISBT in Delhi and you can find inter state buses on a frequent basis for Faridabad, Mathura, Agra etc. from here.

I hope it helps.
