How long will it take him to read through the 23000 + answers and choose the best one? Will he do it himself? Is he a speed reader? Will the world end before he is done? Personally, he is a stand up guy so I think he will personally read all 23000 and carefully choose the best answer. If I get picked, should I put this on a resume? Things to ponder

The only life this guy has is reading. There is no doubt in my mind that he will read every submition before picking an answer. Lets not forget, he also has the option to click "no best answer". Now that is something to ponder. If he does choose that option will he tell us why or give us further insight?

Some how I doubt he will pick any. So far any celeb questions have gone to a vote by users of yahoo. I hope he does pick that would be a change and much more fair, Best of Luck
Hope that helps ~A~

it'll take him 100 years, assuming we survive

and if he picks you as the best answer, certainly put it on your resume - you'll get any job you want if you can (honestly) say that stephen hawking thought your answer to his question was the best out of tens of thousands

I'll try answering both his and your question.
The only relevant answer should be: only time will tell.
