I read last week that some ways of reducing the amt. of electricity that you use in the house is to unplug things that could be secretly using electricity. This would include phone chargers which use electricity even when they are not charging up your phone. Unfortunately I am too lazy to keep unplugging and plugging it in so I just leave it in :-)
