If you are handsome, it is most likely not through your doing, but a gift from God. There's no use in being proud of something you had no part in...You should quietly thank God and not think about it. It is pride that is the ruination of man and societies.

It is difficult to answer this intelligently without seeing your picture. Generally, beauty is due to body/facial symmetry. In other words, if you were split down the middle, each side would be the same as the other. So, take your photo, cut in two and then photocopy each side as one. Do you recognize yourself? If so, that may be objective evidence of your handomeness.
In Thailand, the bargirls call every old fat slop handome, so if you want to be appreciated, go there!
