my friend asked me this a while ago, it took me ages to settle on one but I think it must be vaudeville. I discovered it in Blue Skies by Special Needs "I only care for daring vaudeville". The meaning is cool, its a type of multiact theatre from 1880 to 1920s, I suppose like a more sophisticated circus, but applied to a modern day it means more just being a showperson for the entertainment of others.

exacerbate, contraputal and tranquil are also up there.

illusion is my favourite word.

there's this gnawing emptiness in my heart
i don't know why
its that old feeling again
of being surrounded with friends yet feeling so alone
my heart's so heavy; its sinking
i find it difficult to breathe
i laugh but actually i cry
life's a stageplay
close the curtain on me

so i want to live in an illusion world

it's a toss-up between a few, including "ungulate", "ruckus", "obfuscate".... basically any word that sounds funny

and outside of english i don't think i can go past "juoksentelisinkohan" (which is Finnish/Suomi for "i wonder if i should run around aimlessly"). i like the idea that a whole sentence can be contained in one word

I've got a few... I like destructive words like 'annihilate' and 'demolish' because they hold such force and power when you say them to exaggerate a bit.
I also like 'mullet' because it rolls off the tongue so beautifully. People also don't expect you to say it and it often has strong connotations that are fun to play with ;P
