My b/f has been unemployed since Feb, and although is on job-seekers money, i haven't seen him looking for a job once since i moved in (3 weeks ago). I'm the only workig, and not making much money. I have looked while he's away, and found each time a couple of jobs that i think will suit him. Question is, should i show him them, or will that just give the impression i don't trust him? He's quite lazy, and i suspect that a small part of him can't be bothered with working. Tsk, *sighs*, men, eh?

You can tell that you are extending an extra hand to help him out finding a job see if it works out else you have your own choice.

There is no answer to laziness and I hate it...

Show him them, and say that he dopesn't need to apply to them. Just make sure that he knows you are helping to support him as he may be feeling a little down about having to look for a job. Male Pride. encourage him but don't badger him. He will gain more confidence, especially if you show him jobs that he may not think he is capable of doing. This will show him you value him. Plus if you do show him, at least he won't think your going behind his back. job hunting is a bit of a lonely process when you are in a relationship as I have found out. A little participation from you may do wonders. He may react a little off with you at first but just make it clear that you want to help him, not make him feel worse. Hope this answer helps. Honesty more than anything goes a very long way.

I think that you are wasting your time. Your boyfriend it seems doesn't want to work. Unless you plan on supporting him, and having to pay his way in addition to your own way, I would tell him how you feel about his lack of ambition to work for a living.

Woh! Back off! It is both wrong and counter-productive. Do you want to come across as a nagging control-freak? I am sure you don't but you would do.
