I understand why the Palestenians do, and even the modern arab world, but why have the been persecuted and hated by Hitler, Stalin, and many others.

Often times they have money and do their own thing, but there are plenty of other people like that (e.g. Madonna).

I also realize that this was prophecied in the Old Testament, however what reasons do people have for disliking them?

I can see why the christians could have a grudge, however many that persecute them are athiest or agnostic.

I really don't think the WORLD hates Jews, I know that I don't. But when ever you have a difference of opinion you will eventually have hatred.

I agree with Hellbent. I think with respect to Hitler, they provided a good scapegoat to rally the country around. He could inflame Christians indignation by playing the Christ killer card and then seize whatever property and wealth they had for his own twisted purposes. But lets not forget, the Jews are not the only people who have been persecuted for being different. Christians persecuted Pagans, and Romans persecuted Christians, even the Jews according to the Bible were commanded by God to wipe out the inhabitants of Cannan after leaving Egypt. So racial hatred unfortunately seems to be something inherent in the human condition.

Most of the wars through history have probably been based on some leader being able to instill sufficient hate in his people against an outside group of people to want to kill them. If we want to prevent men like Hitler and Stalin from rising to power we need to look at how leaders use fear and hatred to get people to kill each other.

People hate the Jews for the same reason Pol Pot hated Chinese in Cambodia. See the movie- The Killing Field. am Chinese born in Cambodia and the natives hated the Chinese. Actually, they hated the French and blamed French Colonialism for their miserable poor empty bellied life. So, they drove out the French using politics and violence. Then, they became angry that their life didn't improve much. So, they decided to blame their miserable life circumstances on the Chinese. Hence, they genocided millions of Chinese. What is the condition of Cambidia today? The Cambodians are still starving, miserable, and unhappy. So, what do they do now? Sell their own children into prostitution for tourist. I guess they are happy now since they can blame their miserable life on their kids so since they can't kill their kids why not pimp them.

I dont think most Christians have problems with Jews actually I think many Chrisitans have a favorable feeling toward the Jews. Some people who lack understanding might blame them for the death of Jesus..Hitler was psycho.. as Gods chosen people I am sure that Satan inpires many attacks on them..The Agnostics and Athiest are easy tools of Satan.

It is true; since Moses and his people were driven out of Egypt, their has always been a tremendous hatred for Jews. When I was young I supported and liked the Jew's but as I aged I have found them to be an arrogant race, capable of making great money at the expense and misery of others. Finally! what happened to them by Hitler was terrible but they are proving today that they are capable of inflicting the same death and misery on other races and cultures. Whether they are right or wrong they do not have the right to put the world in danger.

The world hates Jews cause Jews "love money" but then again, we all love money.. it's just that Jews have the dicipline to work hard and get money, whereas the rest of us sit on our asses all of the time and get pissed that the Jews are rich and we're not.

And I am a Christian, and I have no problem with Jews, they're God's chosen people.

I share the same confusion.
The only thing I can think of is that the Jews are chosen people, and those who are not from God would hate the Jews. Christians don't have to hold grudges against the Jews.

The Jews believe themselves to be "chosen" and often refuse to integrate with other cultures. People hate others who are different. Most people are just ignorant about the differences of others and seem to find reasons to hate rather than like. It must be in our genetic makeup, that we side with people of the same tribe as a defensive survival strategy.

I asked a similar question to this yesterday, as I have always wondered the same thing. They just seem like a scapegoat to me ... if something goes wrong, then let's blame the Jews.
