Limewire speed is dependant on
1.your connection....the faster the better
2. the other peoples connection
3. the number of hosts that have the file you want.

So if you download a file that 15 other people have it's going to take a minute or two to complete the download. If you download a file that only one person has it may take up to a hour sometimes depending on the other person's connection.

limewire is slow , you need more hosts when downloading songs, movies, etc. when you type something in search and it comes up with different like songs movies etc. there are number beside the title and these number of hosts you can download from .the higher the number better the download. limewire pro is their faster software try it.

Why do you need to use Limewire. There are so many file hosting sites these days. Like rapishare.de, megaupload.com, etc, etc. So people just upload the files there and post them in sites. To look for such a site, type "gotphaze" in Google search and click "I am feeling Lucky". :D
