Discrimination is defined as: "Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit"

So if someone qualifies for a scholarship because their black, minority, a woman, etc, isn't that discrimination??? Shouldn't the government stop discriminating?

If there are 2 equal candidates for a job, scholarship, promotion, medical school, etc. and I give prefrence to one of them ONLY because of their race, color, sex, etc, then it's discrimination. Read the definition slowly if you still don't understand.

Discrimination is pushing someone down OR promoting someone solely because of race, sex, etc.
