Does anyone ever laugh at these clip programmes? I admit I've laughed a couple of times when watching Harry Hill's one, but most of these are so bad. 'Planet's Funniest Animals' is on now... I can sit through an entire 30 mins (although I obviously choose not to) without smiling, let alone laughing... and the 'audience' is in stitches!

What do you all think?

P.s. It doesn't feel right putting this in 'entertainment', but so be it.

Some of the animal clips can be funny or cute (baby animals). Never really watch it, because I have a real problem with the clips of children - so many of them involve children that may have been hurt or could have been, moreover, the parents are obviously filming and can see that their child is likely to get hurt etc... That's sooo not funny and you're quite right it's not entertainment - maybe answers should have a crap section!

You're right, it's not entertainment. I didn't laugh at either programme when I saw them, I do have a sense a humour but just can't laugh at other peoples misfortunes. I especially hate when it involves a child (for instance falling over the front of bike handlebars) or an animal (perhaps bumping into a closed glass door). Why is that funny?

I don't believe there is an audience as such, it sounds very much like canned laughter to me.

Planets funniest animals is rubbish and you've been framed used to be but Harry Hill's commentary makes it so much funnier. It always makes me laugh now.

I do laugh at times, but you usually have to mute it to watch the program. The voice overs they do are horrible, they make the show unwatchable.

Without the sound you can still laugh at a dog knocking over a small child or a guy getting hit in the nuts

I think the clips with the animals, especially the dogs and cats are funny but a lot of them are staged. For instance, why video someone painting or climbing up a ladder or working on a roof?

Agree 100%. Find it all amazingly irritating. The audience laugh because they have electrodes in their seats that stimulate a nerve in the butt called the laughius maximus. Director presses a button and, hey presto, laughter on tap.

I once spilt a red hot cup of coffee on a very private part of my body. I have never known pain like it before or since but even that is funnier than these miserable excuses for entertainment.

yes i always laugh at the clips from these shows, but especially from you've been framed i feel some are just acting to get the money, which is quite annoying really.
