In general I smile back, unless what I get is a weird look and smile. Then I just ignore it.

Depend what type of smile is the person giving to me? I will return a smile if is a friendly smile! And I like to smile to children. : )

yes I too also aways smile back - but sometimes I wish I had not . I even smile while answering the phone, People laugh when they see me but I was taught that in a customer service course I took and it really does work.

Always smile....its an awesome gesture to return a smile...reminds me of a poem i read.......
A SMILE
It cost nothing, but creates much.

yeah! i think its a thing for everyone to smile back if someone smiles at you even if you are not that close to the person or even if you dont know the person ublees that you seeing that his/her smile has something deeper in it( you know bad things)... a smile from someone brighten up everyone's day... me.. even if im so down but somebody smile at me.. i feel relief... (=smile=)
