If it's scientific reasoning you want rather than philosphy and psychology, then 'hell' as defined by the Bible doesn't actually exist. That's right, God fans, there is no hell.

To find out what I'm going on about, you have to remember a very important point: the Bible wasn't written in English. The Bible wasn't even originally translated into English from the language that it was written in. The original texts of the Bible were first written in Hebrew, and translated through Latin before being translated into English.

Now, as I'm sure all those of you who can speak more than one language know, you can not directly translate one word from one language into one word from another language - the best you can do is find the word which has the same meaning in the context you are using it. And, of course, everytime you translate a word, the meaning slips a little bit.

The word most often translated in the Bible as 'hell' is the Hebrew word 'Sheol', which in most contexts in the Bible more appropiatly translates as 'grave', especially in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, there are various words frequently translated as 'hell', among them Gehenna, Hades, and Tartaroo. None of these, technically, translate to a modern understanding of the realm of Hell.

Science denies the existence of hell. So it is impossible to tell how hot is hell using scientific reasons.

In order to approach this question scientifically, there must be some proof that "hell" actually exists. Since there is no proof, the question cannot be answered because it is impossible to measure the heat from a non-existent place.

How can anyone answer this question with scientific reasoning? No one has ever been there to collect data and came back.

My scientific answer is :Go to hell. Report back when you can.
Then we'll all know whether we'd want to visit.

Well, it doesn't have to be hotter than fire.
But remember, once we get there, there is no way out, meaning we'll be there for ETERNITY (just ponder on that word) .. and oh, you'll never get used to the heat!!! Constant pain, forever and ever ...
