Happens to virtually everyone in their career. Nobody really wants to admit that he or she messed up, especially if it's a "biggie," so it's much easier to blame somebody else.

And this is one reason why many employees eventually leave, because they get fed up with taking the blame for somebody else's mistakes.

But eventually, the time comes when the "blamer" gets caught. How? Because they'll run into someone who won't take it lying down.
