I know there were a lot of great saves... but one that always stands out in my mind is the save by GiGi Buffon from Italy when he blocked a cannonball from France's Zidane late in the second half of overtime. . . It was a dope save, and soon after you can see the frustration in Zidane's face. I felt bad for Zidane because he was probably certain that this attempt would be a goal.
I also really enjoyed Kahn's save against Portugal, when he had to move up the box to face the striker. . . he did a great job in Germany's last match. . . I felt he should of been Germany's starter, but then again, Lehman did a great job as well.

Gianluigi Buffon tipped away a header from Zinedine Zidane in the 2006 FIFA World Cup final, Zidane was somehow unmarked & managed to get his header on target & Buffon was alert to save that header!! Brilliant saves.

Oliver Kahn during the Portugal match....i think Pauleta shot close up at him and somehow he saved it.

Definitely Portugal's goalie Ricardo - he was undeniably AMAZING during the England-Portugal match with his three penalty saves...it was simply AMAZING - no other words can describe it...just AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! =)
