Halo- Pls. send your Bio to to understand Ur profile better - Quantitative Finance is amoungst the top paying jobs atleast presently....If you want a cheaper way to get started in Finance get in touch with a budget you can afford.However market honchoes seem to have a vested interest in formal University credentials/programs - hence a MS makes sense in this regard.

Employers have lots of employees from many schools, and if they see someone with a degree from a place they've never heard of, they begin to question whether you really got a good education at all.
