I want to start my career in IT and want to start earning within one year. My dad has left the job and I have to earn to support my family. I am confused about choosing the right field in IT which can give me best returns. Experts from the field kinly advise me what should I do? Networking / Programming / Security / Design / Multimedia or Oracle Database?

1) if u are creative than i suggest you to go for designing and multimedia. try for animation or webdesigning.. u can select institute of maya (if u have enough money) or i u dont have enough budget try multimedia such as webdesigning or Desktop publishing from NIT or Aptech.
2) if u can bang ur head with programming learn java, oracle or C++. It is very tough and really need concentration..
This is two field which i can guarantee, that you can earn lots of money in year. I advice dont go for networking. very rare people get jobs in india

if u think u can be a good programmer start it
u can really make money if u be a good programmer and database designer
i recommend u .NET
learn .net and MS SQL server database
u can get a microsoft cerification in this case too(MCSD)
but remember u should work and practice.
just studing can not help u
