Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment ... (Hebrews 9:27)
Catholics and most other Christians believe there is no "reincarnation" after death.
Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When "the single course of our earthly life" is completed, we shall not return to other earthly lives.
With love in Christ.

Absolutely not - the human mind experiences many things, some are due to external stimuli whereas others are only due to the internal workings of the mind. A common mistake people make is to think that everything that happens in the mind relates to the real world and then make up various things (like reincarnation) to try to explain them. However, the real world is what science reveals ie the way the world actually is, not the way we would like it to be or think it might be. Reincarnation is just the human mind's way of trying to kid itself that death isn't final regardless of how overwhelming the evidence is that death is final. But once people have their minds made up, they don't seem to be too influenced by facts - another way the human mind works.

Here is the Catholic Church's Official teacing on reincarnation:
(1013) Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When "the single course of our earthly life" is completed, we shall not return to other earthly lives: "It is appointed for men to die once." There is no "reincarnation" after death.

80% of humans believe in reincarnation and the 20% christians dont, only because an eastern roman emperor in about the 5th C AD rigged a vote against it [he imprisoned voting bishops] because he connected it with paganism - forgetting that paganism couldnt get everything wrong, even if they tried to
[and what sort of truth is it that is decided by vote?]
read 'reincarnation, the phoenix fire mystery' - a good read, and anthology of reincarnation

I myself believe only in natural recycling. You're born, you eat to live, you exhaust your body, die and be fed to other organisms.
I hate to burst your bubble, but anything you're 'experiencing' I can definitely explain scientifically. Just elaborate your 'encounters' and I'd be happy to! :D

No I don't. We only live once and then will face judgement.
You think you're experiencing it because you've heard of it but you're not really experiencing it because you're don't even know if you are.
