I am going to give parsnips to my 8 month old babay for the first time, but i am not sure in I should boil it or steam it or how to cook it . Anyone ......

As with all veggies for a baby it's best to steam and use the water to puree. Alot of the vitamins and minerals get lost if you boil.
Parsnips, what a great food! I will have to try that one on my 9 month old.

I would boil or steam the parsnips until soft, then puree them in a food processor.

The same way you would give carrots--either grate a little bit, or lightly steam them.
