i actually want to meet some of these ladies to see if they look like thier avatar does any one else feel the same?

Well, not really. I think they are cute and all, but they represent what the person believes they look like, not what an objective observer would see. People tend to overlook little flaws in themselves, like that extra 180 pounds of blubber, or the huge hairy mole on their nose, or the piercingly annoying voice, or the smell that would knock a buzzard off a manure wagon at 50 paces, or the intellect that would embarass a mongoloid, or ....
Well, you get the idea.
Yeah, these avatars can be cute, sexy, and darn provocative (one person - a girl? - uses a photo of a WWII pinup girl), but there may be no relationship to reality.
Now, just to be entirely on the up-and-up, my own avatar is a photo of me, on my bike, wearing a helmet. It was taken last year, so it is not a perfect likeness, but it's pretty close.
That doesn't mean I want to meet people, it just means I think I look a lot cooler in real life than as a cartoon.

it is cute, but then - it's just an animated image of what this person thinks she/he looks like -
do not get a turn on - this is just interesting to do - answer questions and read everybodies opinions

i feel the same somewhat. even if they're cartoons they're hot but they don't really reflect on the person. most of my crushes are basically anime/manga/videogame guys. but they're not real i have to wake up to reality. i have a really sad love life lol. even if i do find them attrative they're not real.
