The Oktoberfest (called Wies'n by locals in Munich) is held on the fair grounds called Therieseinwiese, which is located in Munich.

If you want to go there using the commuter train called S-Bahn, the best stop to get off and walk to the Oktoberfest is called Hackerbrücke - I think that's what you mean!

:-)

Oktoberfest is in Munich. That is the big fest that everyones knows about. Several small cities do there version of Oktoberfest but its not too impressive. Munich definately is. Hacker-Pschorr is a brewery that has a tent at Oktoberfest...is that maybe what you heard? I live in Germany and have never heard of hakerpruker.

There is a brewery called Hacker-Pschorr, which operates a big beer tent on the Oktoberfest called the Hacker-tent. Maybe you mean that.
