I think its rather possible. If Israel attacks Syria, then Syria and its ally Iran, would both declare war on Israel. The U.S. & The U.K. being Israel's allies, (I don't know why) would also be drawn into the fray.

Here is a more troubling thought you might want to think of and the united states (which i am all for because i am u s citizen) If all that plays out like you said how many other countries will enter lets face it there are numerous amounts of countries that hate us surrounding the globe. For instence what if north koria wants to get in on it on top of that venizula hates united states as well. Not only that china is the next upcoming country they are slated that in 2015 will be a more powerfull force then the united states what if china sees this as a good opertunity to enforce there will i mean only would be out there since america pushes there will amoungst every nation. You dont know why israil? Well israil doesnt do much wrong i mean they abide but the muslim community continues to cause problems.
