Good and bad

Massive.

On the one hand, having a computer makes researching articles and writing much easier. Having a website is like having an up-to-date portfolio. I love the convenience.

On the other hand, I used to be able to disappear into the woods for a week or more and not be expected to be available by phone, IM, or any other instant reply. Now, if I go away, I could come back to hundreds of emails from people who are not accustomed to waiting a day or two for a reply.

I've been toying with the idea of camping with my laptop. There's excellent camera equipment for outdoor use - I don't think the laptop is there yet. Then there's the issue of getting a signal on a laptop or a cell phone - I go places that are not far, but are cell phone "dead" areas.

Then there's my own search to find a balance in my dichotomous existence.

On one hand life is going very easy and fast. The dependency on computer increasing the unimployment problem and many physical problem.

In very short we can say that it is a double sided sword.
