BONES is very very good at melancholy endings to their works, haven't you noticed? As for Al mucking stuff up. Yeah, Al without Ed is a little . . . odd, to say the least. The final chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist is the movie (Conqueror of Shambala) that's due out here in September. The first time Al shows up in screen . . . ^_^;;; I'm not going to give spoilers, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted to hug him or throttle him. But it ends up okay.

I have to say, after watching the movie "Full Metal Alchemist, The Conqueror of Shamballah", I wished I had never seen it, I didn't like it at all, and I prefer the ending of the series than the movie ending.

The movie I think is the real ending. From what little bit I have seen it seems to take place after the end of the series.

YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!!!!! I can't agree more than that. How could they ever leave poor and cute and loving ED in a world like that! Stuck with his dad and no alchemy at all. Poor ED *sigh* He's not Edward Elric without his power and his brother.
