Joni Mitchell- Love her use of open tunings. Even Jimmy Page borrowed from her style at one point.

Alex Lifeson (Rush)- Inititally a blend of Page Meets Steve Hackett, but established himself as a great player in his own right. Master of arpeggios. Wrongly underrated player.

Jonny Lang is my favorite because he's the only one who's ever caught my ear. I'm totally a voice person and could care less about the guitar. I heard one of his songs (can't remember which one) and was caught up in the sound of the solo. It was weird because I usually blow of that part of any song.
