Better late than never. Imagine your life span is a hundred years and you will be able to work till you attain the age of 60 or 70, then you have 30 to 40 years of hard work and remaining 30 years to live in the earth without any income. You have to keep some money for life after retirement. This is not possible if you do not earn now. You have the experience of 30 years in life and can use it in a satisfactory manner at present. So, you can take up the assignment happily.

I was asking taht question at 34. But here I am at 37, living and working a new job and a new life in a different country. I have to tell you, sometimes the move makes it more enjoyable. You are able to not only start over and put the past behind you, but you are also able to learn new things about life and yourself.

Never too late to live your life!!!!!!!! so do it!!!!!
what would be a better question is... what challenges can one expect when moving to a new country? that should give you a better idea of wether you are up for it. it will also depend on how involved you get with living in said country... if you get right into the system running a business, working etc... then it will be tough... if not, it will be a breeze.

No. Learning a new culture and language is an education like no other. You will discover a new life that is very different to that you have known. The rest of your life, you will be able to see things from two different points of view. It will make you wiser. If you are living in the USA, where exposure to other cultures is less than in most other countries, the experience will be dramatic.

Well! if it helps I was nearly 60 when I started a new life in an adjacent country with entirely different values. I have no regrets. Today is the first day of the rest of my life and I can cope with that nicely. So can you!

That really depends on your mindset. If you are flexible, and willing to accept other ways of life and other perspectives, you should have no trouble at all, save maybe for some homesickness sometimes. Make sure you inform yourself properly about the country, but the main importance is your own attitude. If you feel that you can adjust and still be yourself and be comfortable, go for it!

it depends on the conditions. if you are a businessman, for example, and if you are welcomed by your collegues in another country, 30 can be regarded as an appropriate age but if your aim is to start a totally new life 30 would be late

No! It is never too late to start anew. And 30 is not old. Go for what you want. Life is a series of hard choices, but giving up on yourself is not an option!
Hope I helped! :)

I went around the world and now live in samui Thailand and all at 37 years old, if you are worried at this stage perhaps this IS the best time to do it as you gain a lot of confidence and get to see other folks living elsewhere so maybe take a long trip to see where you would like to live first. good luck
