Ask her sister or friends what she likes to do. If she likes comedy, take her to see a stand up show live. If she's sporty, take her rollerblading and have a picnic afterwards. Whatever you do, make sure you put some effort and thought into it, ask her questions about herself, show interest in her and most importantly, bring her something (like flowers, etc) and tell her she looks lovely.

It's very difficult to say when I don't know anything about either of you, however I will tell you what would impress me.
A lovely walk by the sea shore, to listen to the waves lapping across the sand, to smell the saltiness of the sea and then to sit and watch the sun set while sipping a nice glass of champagne . We would then sit together star gazing at the magnificent inky black sky above.

Some ideas:
1. Impress her with your wallet
Any expensive restaurant in town.
2. Impress her with your sporting skills
Bring her to your sporting match.
3. Impress her with your intellect.
Bring her to a seminar or the library.
4. Impress her with your cooking skills
Bring her home for dinner/lunch/breakfast
5. Impress her with your dancing.
You know where to go.
6. Impress her with your romantism.
A walk on the beach?
7. Impress her on your adventurous self.
A trek up Mt Everest.
8. Impress her that you are dead serious.
Bring her home for afternoon tea with your mom.

Think of your budget...is dinner included?If u can afford,Michelangos at Chip Bee is good,if not Olive at Labrador Park..
Aftermath,you guys can probably chill out at some nice coffee joints like coffee club opposite Orchard Cineleisure or drinks at Indochine,Asian Civilisation Museum.
Buying flowers for her is a no no...too passe!

Well, you should have an idea on your character, so you should have a better idea where to bring her. I have been to NOG at night ( Due to work commitment) and to date that is the most impressive and romantic area that I have ever been but the sad thing is that it is not open to public at night.

Bring her down to sentosa. especially at about 6.30pm you can have dinner at Rasa sentosa which they have this seafood BBQ by the seaside. Very romantic. Remember this timing as this is the time when the sun is setting and after the dinner you can bring her stroll along the lagoon.

I will suggest a movie (despite it's boring but at least when both of you are too shy to talk, it will help alot!). After that, go for a drink at a coffee house....

For nice ambience - can chose mount faber... place called faber rock.. food is alright and not expensive...
Another suggestion - a place along east coast park call beach carbana. food is quite good and also will not burn a hole in your pocket..
