Wash the area well, keep it dry and apply a cream containing Econazole nitrate or Miconazole nitrate, twice daily, once in the morning & once before going to bed for 5-7 days and see the miracle.
Then always keep the area clean & dry and maintain personal hygiene to kick the problem away forever.

It sounds like jock itch.

It is very common. Little air gets in that area. That's what enables the condition.

It is caused by heat and prespiration and bacteria.

Bathing in cool water and often, then drying the area thoroughly and wearing boxers instead of briefs will help a lot!

There are MANY over the counter medications you can buy
at the drug store for it. They all work well.

Could just be "Jock Itch", dont bum.
Hopefully your dad has had it too, so you can borrow his "Curex",
or whatever he used, without having to go to the store and buy it yourself. (It can be embarrassing)
If you have to go to a store and buy it, just buy a magazine or somthing with it, and pretend like you lost something in your wallet, or talk on a cell phone, to make it less embarrassing.
It sucks, but it can't be any less embarrassing than a woman buying tampons, thats why they always send the guy in to do it.

1 st see a DR. Most likely, since it's summer time, more sweat=bacteria. bath and lay on a dry towl do really dry off. Try a cream for jock itch. But, do see a DR.
