the people who really care about her and surrounding herself with people who are just using her. Is she on drugs? Should I buy a test kit?

She was fine three months ago before she decided she want to see what it was like to live with her father. She was an AB honor student attended church helped out at home. Then she moved over there and everything changed.

I have 3 teenagers who ALL went through the most horrible personality changes at that age. I think its a combination of hormones, and that they are not a baby anymore, but too young to really do anything older teens do, like drive, get jobs, date, etc.
I'd give it more time before drug testing, unless she has given you red flags, or blown the trust factor more than once.
Just be as supportive as you can, let her know you love her, even when she's not so lovable.
This too shall pass!!!!

I've had this problem occur with my teenage daughters some years back.

They would frequently sleep in on weekends, and show little motivation toward anything whatsoever.

The only cause of this, as I regrettably learned, was that they were frequently partaking in drug-doing, sex-having, and loud-music-playing.

Remember, the absence of evidence is not necessarily the evidence of absence. When my daughters were far too deep in, they would lie up and down no matter how much I interrogated them in order for them to give up the truth.

Your best course of action is some sort of rehabilitation center, boot camp, boarding school, or other desperate measure that is nothing more than necessary in this desperate time.

You have the correct definition of teenagers, some are like that, they will always think you are outdated, old, obnoxious etc.
They think they are the brightest and most of the time they mix with wrong people.

How did it get to that level in the first place???????
It seems someone was not responsible and the habit grew on from there.

There are many wrong things you can do and one of them is that, try to get as much info on her before buying the test kit.

A little outside investigation may help to clarify a lot of things

NO!!! All that'll do is show your lack of faith and push your daughter further in. What you should do is just have a long chat, get some people her age to talk to her, anything but show that you don't trust her. I'd talk for you. If I can help at all, e-mail me. I'm 17, but I'm very mature and maybe be able to help you out. weirdmonkeyspanker@yahoo.com

This is due to her adolescence problem.
Too much caring is very bad during this period.
You have to make her understand everything in a smooth way.
If you have doubts on her, take her to a specialist and get her checked up.

I don't think that would be very reasonable, she may end up not trusting you because you would have done that.

I think an alternative to that would just be to TRY and talk to her about it. Don't accuse her of using, just bat around the bush.

She could suffer from a chemical imbalance that only a doctor can help you with. It could be drugs, but it's not really normal.
