I thought Hostel was good, it had a fairly original story. The original The Hills Have Eyes was good, as was the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I liked the remake as well. 28 Days Later is super scary to me. John Carpenter's The Thing was good. I really loved Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses. The Devil's Rejects, not so much.

The original 'The Hills Have Eyes" was better than the remake.
There was one movie named "Wrong Turn" , I think, that was similar and just as gross as Hostel and all the rest of those sick movies.
The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is pretty gory.
And Tx Chainsaw Massacre 2 is gross, too. You can't eat chili for a month after seeing that one!
