I know... I live in Colorado too. I hate summer here! 11% humidity... so I guess at least it's a dry heat. Not like it matters.

Its definitely happening. Last year was the hottest ever on planetary averages and 12 out of the last 14 years were the hottest ever recorded. The 2 that were not were caused by the eruption of Mount Pinatoubo in the Phillpines that sent up sufficient dust into the upper atmosphere to shade the Earth for 2 years

Global warming is rise and fall in temperature it can also cause flash storms.From your case it might just be a temperature inversion.But still global warming exists
