how do people get these long answers .obiously not there own but copied they are blatenty false

They cut and paste them, and then the honest ones site the source at the bottom by providing a link.

I'm probably rather abnormal because I'm new to the forum scene, but all my answers came from my own education. None of them were ever copied/pasted, or ripped off from an internet site. I guess I'm just long winded and want to share what I was privileged to learn in the first place.
I'm assuming that a lot of people do crazy long copy/pasting though? I guess I'll run into it soon enough.

I have had a dig at some of these guys who just cut and paste from sites such as wikipedia...what is the point? who doesn't know the web enough to find that info themselves? I guess it is OK if they summarised it - or added they own comments, or views - but most are too lazy so and sos - most don't bother ...pointless - and who has time to read it all anyway?
Copying stuff without even understanding most of it (most likely) is NOT brilliant - it is very DUMB - whether or not they quote the source...

You are grumpy. Sometimes people have long answers...long, true, blatantly trustworthy, and informative. Yes, some answers are copied. The goal of this forum is to answer questions. Does it matter from which source an answer is obtained? Why? If the answer is helpful, the intended goal is accomplished. Everyone should be happy. Who promised you original, short, uncopied answers? For your peace of mind, this long answer to your question is original and all mine.

The answers aren't necessarily false, the person just researched the Internet to find an appropriate answer, and usually the site is listed as a source.

Cut and paste, some are genuine though, i give lots of info when i can like on predictions for people.

they just want to be chosen for best answer!
but obviously they didnt write that themselves!
they should put what they know from their knowledge!
and plus its better to be short and to the point!
