like a small gap.. and how do you know if you should get it fixed

it is possible to have a pretty smile with a gap! some actresses have gaps in their front teeth and do quite well in the looks department - people don't even notice the gap unless they are looking for it. also, a gap in the teeth used to signify high intelligence. if you feel self conscious about it, then that is how you know you should get it fixed.

I have a small gap and I think my smile is fine...but it honestly depends on the size of your gap and how you smile. Some people smile so their face kind of squishes funny and so the gap makes the face look funny...I recommend you practice smiling in front of the mirror, so you know exactly what's the best size smile that compliments your face. I did that and I feel more confident and photogenic.

darling - i have been wearing my gap for 35 years. at first, till i was about 20 i hated it!!! but the more i love me and accept me unconditionally the more i love every little detail about myself, even the stuff that is not conventionally pretty. lauren bacall (old actress) had a huge(!) gap.... or someone from that era did. but anyway she was considered to be gorgeous for her day.
don't mess with what the Universe gave you - you and your human envelope are perfect just the way you are.

I had one as young person and had it fixed. There was no reason to fix it other than wanting to be pretty. Today I think that was a stupid decision. Didn't cause any harm, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd just leave it alone.

yes i think so becuz lots of girls have gaps in their teeth and their pretty.i think that its wrong to just base looks on models wuth perfect white teeth, so im sure ur smile is very pretty.

EMBRACE YOUR GAP!!!!! LOVE IT!!!! id say only get it fixed if you are completely uncomfortable with it...or it makes you feel really really self-conscious...
