My laptop is going really slow......what can I do?

There are many contributing factors to a slow computer:
How much RAM do you have? What is your internet connection? Is it just slow on the internet or all computer operations? Have you defragged your harddrive lately? Do you routinely clear your history and delete cookies? Do you have a virus? Do you have spyware?
The best thing... take your computer into your local Best Buy or Circuit City and have them speed it up for you. If you have a computer guru as a friend. He/she can do this too for you.

Computer Slow
Download and then run startup.exe at:
http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......
Can't live without it and windows...
Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.
Other things to try:
1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

Your machine is probably infected by virus. Scan your machine with a reliable up to date antivirus.
Clear your cache. delete programs that you don't need, then defrag.
You should see an improvement after taking those steps.

I think infected with spyware, pop-up adverts, virus......etc. Go to www.downloads.com to downloads antispyare...etc. to clean your system

do u mean ur hard drives? or the internet?
clean up ur hard drives to make it run fast

i think your system ram is low or maybe your cpu
