Unfortunately at soccer, there are many players, especially top talented players who enter the competion with a lot of national pride and pressure!! All eyes are focussed on them expecting them to perform and to score goals for their country so its not surprising at times that under those kind of pressures, they can get a little bit frustrated and annoyed when things are not going their way. But Zidane is not a violent player, he just has a temper if players provoke or push him to anger especially when there is a lot of trash talking, there really isn't much one can do about it, some people can hold onto their temper better than others but it doesn't make him evil, it just makes him human and human beings are capable of making regrettable mistakes. The best thing any of us can do is try to understand them and forgive them.

Many of the great players can be violent. I, personally, believe that Zidane is overrated, but still, he is a good player. His temper also comes with his talents, it's a part of his personality. Many times, it will make him try harder and go taht extra mile, or sometimes, many things will pile up and make him break, and he wil do something rash. Many player today and past have had that personality: Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Eric Cantona, Diego Maradona, many more. They are, after all human, and some humans have better control of their emotions than others, but, sometimes, even those who have control of their emotions can break when provoked under pressure. It is something that you can see in nearly every sport and in your daily life.
