yes indeed they should have bsb number another way would be to ask for names of any satisfied clients and then again you would have to check them out. witht the bsb number you could always contact small claims in wrinting of course and enquire whether there has been any action taken against the company concerned.

Perhaps you could also check if the business has a phyical address then ask around the people and institutions near there.
