The Islamic terrorists have done it again. How can this be ever stopped.?

The Islamic terrorism has increased considerably. Initially the west did not take it seriously. But now they are also facing. And the world has to find a solution to it. How?

Terrorists cannot be appeased. They will not stop untill the entire world is under their controll. The only way to stop terrorism is to show them that you will not bow to their tactics. You must fight back.

The only plane that wasn't used as a weapon on 9/11 was the one that the passengers fought back.

All the passengers of that flight should be given medals and their families should be considered National Treasures. Honor is too small a word for them.

We can probably start by dropping this automatic association of particular religions with terrorism. Cases can be made for Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists engaging in terrorism too. Impressionable men and women get sucked into terrorism by monsters who seek to clothe villainy in religious garb.

The West, particularly the USA, could help by recognizing that while they have embraced Democracy and Capitalism as the foundations of their societies (and I personally think they are right in so doing), they cannot be seen to be evangelizing and forcing it on whichever region catches their fancy every year. These actions appear no different from (a) those of missionaries in the recent past, and the Crusaders and their Muslim opponents some centuries ago, thus enflaming religious passions (b) the extreme reactions of some in the affected region, making it easier to posit this as Christianity Vs Islam or Judaism Vs Islam or whatever.

The people of the world can help stop this by understanding that faiths and dogma centuries old divide us just as surely as national boundaries, largely artificial, do. Instead of tying up national identities so closely with a religion (which unfortunately seems to be a trait peculiar to the Middle East), why can't we separate the two? Education that is secular and focused on knowledge, which emerged in the West a few centuries ago, could help.

I don't claim any of this is practical, neither is it comprehensive, original or novel. It is alright to dream though, I think.

Currently we can see this terrorism ''is going to be stopped'' ONLY by violence. Actually I think that there's no solution right at the moment. And if there's indeed a solution - which I think there will be - we have to search and think really hard about it.

islamic extremest dont respond to anything but brute force.you cannot sit down and talk with people who would like to kill you for not belonging to there religion.in my opinion the only response to radical islam is to seek it out and destroy it totally.
