If she has tried to be the best wife and mother, and the husband seems disinterested? I know this lady, and she loves her husband, but he is sitting around getting fat and seems content with the way things are. She has talked until she is blue in the face, but he sees nothing wrong. What should she do? She believes in making the marriage work.

If he doesnt work,he needs a job!!!! The worst thing for a marriage is if the man cant get of his backside and work.A relationship changes when the man has self esteem,employment gives this.once he is mixing with other people he will look at his weight,and how he is as a person.he will be comparing himself to others,he cant do that right now.

If I were her I would try a marriage councilor.It seems her husband is taking her somewhat for granted & the lines of marriage communication need to open up.

And why wouldnt he be, with all her coddling.
I guess she can stop trying to please him, and start being disinterested as he is. If that doesnt make him sit up and notice, then apparantly she's wasting her time. He's doesnt just "seem" disinterested..........He IS disinterested.

leed the way for change herself . do herself what she wants him to do ,dont bother talking .When she is looking hot and sexy and starting to get attention he will get the message .Then do every thing to help him.

If she can and financially able, divorce him, if not, accept him for who he is. OR go for counselling.
