If each song is of about 6 MB average then No. of songs which can fit in your mp3 player = 512/6 = 85(approximately)

Depending on the size of your song file. On average, a file with good qualities is 5 MB. So... this mp3 player can fit about 100 songs.

It depend on the MP3 file's bit rate
Does your mp3 player support sample bit rate ??
usual MP3 file's bit rare is 128 kbps (1 song around 4-5 MB)
But sample bit rate songs are available to download.
it is around 500-700 kb
the clarity will reduce as per reducing bit rate

the average 3 1/2 to 4 minute song is about 4.5 to 5 mb... so I'm guessing about a hundred or so... ?

512 ram is sufficient for lots of at present's video games(except for battlefield 2 and particular others) even if it wont damage to improve. the 6600gt is a good pics card. i'd get the 6600gt. yet i'm not a specialist at this so that you need to favor to take different solutions into consideration

A hundred give or take, it all depends on the average size of your files. Five meg is fairly normal, but it can vary wildly.

My friend has a 512mb Ipod & with 128mbps mp3's his can hold about 120 songs.
