Well, when that great big continent size rock is about to hit the planet, I'll bet we'll all climb up on our roof tops to try to get a view of the collision.

We're fascinated by stuff like that.

Personally, I do the best I can to live well and encourage others to do the same. Human will adapt as long as they are able.

Yup! But it doesn't interest me much. I'm more interested in trying to preserve the world we have, make life for more people more satisfying (and I don't mean with more toys), and make life as difficult as possible for (a) politicians and others with no view beyond the next election or balance sheet and (b) the "bible crap" that would prefer to avoid thinking about anything at all and (c) the idiots who pander to (a) and (b). For that one needs to join a company of like minds, say like the Greens or Democrats, the Internet GetUp movement and anything else you can find(which entails engagement and breaking from the lemming herds) ... or take over any other party you don't like -- and write letters to politicians etc. globally all of whom judge by how thick the pile is. It may be a losing battle but it's the only real game in town Good luck.

Yes. We call it also "Jesus' second coming". Didn't you notice the signs of the time?

1.increasing crime rates
2.poverty, hunger, malnutrition in the 3rd world countries
3.war against nation (Israel and Lebanon/US and Iraq)
4.flood, earthquake, hurricane,tsunami,etc.

Believe it or not, it's really happening. All we have to do is do good, refrain from doing evil, pray for our salvation. We have to be prepared because we don't know the time when Jesus is coming.

Ya but you can die tomorrow from a car crash or a gun shot.
We will be dead before then. Right now we are just polluting the air killing the ocean pretty much killing earth for our children to come. We are lucky because we can enjoy it right now but they will be swimming in our shiit. Eating our left overs (recycles) and dieing slowly.
