There are so many factors that could affect that scenario in 100 million years that I would have to say that all of those things will probably not happen. I have to agree however that humans will probably not inhabit the earth anymore.
Nobody could begin to speculate what crazy and unheard of things might have happened to our planet by then. Maybe it won't even be here?

I understand your concern. But Mock scientist that make such accusations.
I Love science, but they are being hypothetical when saying some of the things they predict. To predict is to persuade. I don't think that "Future Perfect" should be allowed in any scientist vocabulary, because most of the theory's they come up with usually are DE-bunked a few years later. Just wait, Discovery will air some more ego/pseudo/science project. It's fun to watch, but keep it where it belongs tongue-in-cheek.

Certainly these things could happen, anything is possible. However, I don't see the relevance of purposing what will happen 100 million years from now. Be happy with today...yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.

Those are pretty wild ideas but the fact is we will never know. If we don't take care now there might not be any life in the future. Let's worry about the present and let the future happen when it wants to.

That's all speculation, and I will have been dust for a long time in 100 million years, so I'm not too worried about it

hey, it took just several million years to change from dinosaurs to the earth we see today. There's no telling what will happen 100 million years from now.
