In Sanskrit, Saket means a place said to be very close to Heaven, thus a place where God resides. Saket was the ancient name of the city of Ayodhya, an important Hindu religious place, said to be the place of residence for Lord Rama. Saket was the name of the famous epic Hindi poetic work of Maithili Sharan Gupt, an account of the Ramayana through the eyes of Urmila, a lesser known character.

you can go to www.babyzone.com and type in the name to find out what saket means you can also type in like diffrent meanings there to come up with names. its a baby name generator. even though you may not be looking for baby names you can still go there to see what ur name or other peoples names mean. i would also search for other name meaning sites by going to yahoo search or google.com good luck :)

Buddy I really don't know what "Saket" means even when live in a place called Saket in South Delhi, but I really like the name.
And if you get to know its meaning sometime please let me know.
