The point is people want to feel important by answering questions and having a lot of points to show off. If there was an option to answer questions without getting points...95% would rather have points, They want to help people but in a selfish way. Hardly anyone is helpful without wanting some type of praise. That is the POINT.

I believe he is saying, "whats the point of TV" since thats the section it is in.

My answer to you: Money. It's just another way to make money for some people, whether those people are actors/actresses, writers, editors, etc. It's all about money. Oh and fame, of course.

If you're asking "What is the point of existence", I don't think you're going to
get a consistant answer.

Many people would say "To celebrate God" (or some aspect of him).

Others would say "You got something better to do"?

Your genes would say "To reproduce", if they could talk. Fortunately, they
cannot.

Or, it could simply be that thing at the end of your pencil...
