-I am already enrolled in an MBA program in a less prestigious University but have discovered that it is neither challenging nor is it worth the money
-Should I work another year and reapply to the same school?
-Work with the college's admission committee and just build a relationship with them and reapply?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm not an admissions officer, but have an MBA. I'm thinking that the school that didn't admit you, didn't do so for a reason. Usually the selection is fairly straight forward. Grades and GMAT. I can't imagine how schmoozing the adm. committee will get you in if you're not competitive. I had to also produce evidence of a minimum of 5 years of work in positions of increasing managerial responsibility.
If you're really unhappy where you are, talk to the admissions committee of the school you want to attend and simply ask them what the reasons were for the rejection.
